Terms of Use & Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026
This page explains how the Eitimad Application and website, operated by NeuroLux BH Publicity & Advertising in the Kingdom of Bahrain, handle personal data, and sets out the terms governing use of the marketplace.
Privacy Policy
1. Who We Are
NeuroLux BH Publicity & Advertising, operating Eitimad BH in the Kingdom of Bahrain, is responsible for the personal data described in this Policy. This Policy covers the Eitimad mobile application, the public website, customer support, and marketplace transactions. Our processing is subject to Bahrain's Personal Data Protection Law, Law No. 30 of 2018.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the information you provide and the information needed to run the marketplace: your name, mobile number, optional contact email, preferred language and profile image; your saved delivery addresses; your cart, favourites, orders, invoices, returns and reviews; and the messages you send us through the app or the website contact form. We also keep limited technical records, such as basic device and activity information, to operate and secure the service.
3. Orders, Fees and Payments
Each order is placed with a single merchant. Delivery or pickup is arranged and managed by that merchant, who sets its own delivery prices, and a service fee applied and managed by the platform owners may be added. Depending on the payment options enabled for the merchant, you may pay the full amount upfront through the app, or pay part of the order upfront through the app and pay the remaining amount directly to the merchant when the order is delivered or picked up. Amounts collected through the app and amounts due directly to the merchant are shown before you confirm. Card details are entered directly with our licensed payment provider; we do not store complete card numbers or security codes. We keep the amount, status and reference of platform transactions for accounting and dispute purposes.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use personal data to create and secure your account, present merchants and products, process and track your orders, apply fees and settlement rules, issue invoices, handle refunds and replacements, show amounts refunded by the platform and amounts to be handled by the merchant, send service notifications and verification codes, respond to your enquiries, prevent fraud and misuse, and meet our legal, tax and regulatory obligations.
5. Sharing Your Information
We share information only as needed. The merchant fulfilling your order and its authorised staff receive the order, contact and delivery details required to complete and support it, and delivery personnel receive the details needed to deliver it. Authorised Eitimad staff may access records according to their role. We also use service providers who process data on our behalf under contract, and we may disclose data where required by Bahraini law or a competent authority. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
6. Retention and Transfers
We keep personal data for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, and for any period required by law, tax, accounting or dispute-resolution rules. Where personal data is transferred outside Bahrain, we do so only in accordance with Law No. 30 of 2018 and applicable transfer requirements.
7. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including access controls limited by role, verification of sign-in, and validation of the information submitted to us. No online service is completely secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us promptly, and never send passwords or verification codes by email.
8. Your Rights
Subject to Law No. 30 of 2018 and any applicable conditions, you may ask whether we process your data and request access to it, request correction, blocking or erasure where legally available, object to certain processing including direct marketing, and withdraw consent where processing relies on it. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity. You may also complain to the competent Personal Data Protection Authority in Bahrain.
9. Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your account in the app or through the account-deletion page on this website. Requests are reviewed manually, ordinarily within 3 working days of receiving the required information and completing identity verification. Certain records, such as those relating to completed orders, may be retained where required for legal, financial or dispute-resolution purposes.
10. Children, Changes and Contact
The marketplace is intended for persons aged 18 or over and is not directed to children. We may update this Policy when the service or legal requirements change, and will publish the revised text with an updated date on this page. To exercise a privacy right or ask about this Policy, contact us at eitimad@neuroluxbh.com. Please do not include passwords, verification codes, card details or identity documents in an email.
Terms of Use
1. About Eitimad
The Eitimad Application, operated by NeuroLux BH Publicity & Advertising in the Kingdom of Bahrain, is a multi-merchant marketplace. We provide the customer experience, payment collection, invoicing and order tracking, while each merchant manages its own catalog, pricing, inventory, delivery and fulfillment.
2. Eligibility & Your Account
You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information. Your account is secured by your mobile number and a one-time password; you are responsible for keeping access to your number and account secure.
3. Orders
Each order contains products from a single merchant. When you place an order, stock is reserved and the order is created for that merchant to fulfill.
4. Prices, VAT & Service Fee
All prices are shown in Bahraini Dinar (BHD) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable; VAT is not added on top at checkout. A service fee, applied and managed by the platform owners, may be charged on an order. Before confirmation, the app shows the amount payable through the app, any delivery fee charged through the app, and any remaining amount payable directly to the merchant when partial upfront payment is selected.
5. Payment
You may pay securely through the Benefit or CrediMax payment options made available in the app, or from your Eitimad wallet. Depending on the merchant's settings, you may pay the full order amount upfront through the app or pay part of the order upfront and pay the remaining amount directly to the merchant when the order is delivered or picked up. The remaining merchant amount is not collected, processed, settled or refunded by Eitimad or its payment gateways.
6. Delivery and Pickup
Delivery and pickup are managed by the merchant. If delivery is selected, the merchant arranges delivery itself or through someone acting on its behalf and sets its own delivery prices. If pickup from the merchant is selected, delivery fees are not charged through the app. Delivery and pickup times are estimates and may vary.
7. Returns, Refunds & Replacements
After delivery or pickup, you may request a refund or replacement for eligible items within the request window shown in the app. Approved refunds for amounts collected through the app are handled by the platform according to the selected payment method: gateway-paid orders may be refunded to wallet or bank where available, and wallet-paid purchases can be refunded only to the wallet. For partial upfront orders, any amount paid directly to the merchant when delivered or picked up is the merchant's responsibility to return to you when a refund is due; the app may display this merchant refund amount for clarity, but it is not a platform refund, settlement, liability or payment-gateway transaction. Delivery and service fees may be refundable only according to the approved request and fault assessment.
8. Eitimad Wallet
You may add funds using the available Benefit or CrediMax payment options. Each top-up must be between BHD 5 and BHD 500, and the ordinary maximum wallet balance is BHD 2,000. Payment-provider fees are accounted for when the top-up is processed; no additional payment-provider fee is counted when those wallet funds are later spent. Successful top-ups are available immediately and wallet balances do not expire. If a required wallet refund raises the balance above BHD 2,000, the refund is still credited, but further top-ups remain blocked until the balance falls below the limit. Wallet funds may be used at all stores that accept orders through Eitimad. We may temporarily suspend a wallet, preventing top-ups and spending, where we reasonably suspect fraud, unauthorised use, or a payment dispute, or where we are required to do so; we will restore access once the review is complete.
9. Wallet Restrictions
Wallet funds cannot be withdrawn or transferred to a bank account. The wallet balance cannot become negative. If your balance is insufficient for an order, you must first complete one or more top-ups for the amount required, subject to the top-up and balance limits; the order remains unpaid until the wallet contains enough funds and wallet payment succeeds. Because the minimum top-up is BHD 5, a shortfall smaller than that is rounded up to the minimum and the difference stays in your wallet as a balance you may spend on a later order but cannot withdraw. Authorised support staff may add wallet credit subject to the same per-credit and balance limits. An account with a positive wallet balance cannot be closed until its balance is zero.
10. Cancellations
You may cancel an order before it reaches the later fulfillment stages. Once an order is being prepared or dispatched, cancellation may no longer be available and a return request applies instead.
11. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Eitimad Application lawfully, to provide accurate information, and not to misuse the service. Accounts that violate these terms may be suspended or removed.
12. Merchant Responsibility
Product descriptions, quality, pricing, delivery and fulfillment are the responsibility of the selling merchant. Eitimad facilitates the transaction and support but is not the manufacturer of the goods and does not carry out delivery.
13. Intellectual Property
The Eitimad name, application, website and content are owned by NeuroLux BH Publicity & Advertising or its licensors. Merchant and product content belongs to its respective owners.
14. Disclaimers & Liability
The service is provided on an "as is" basis. To the extent permitted by law, Eitimad is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
15. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and any dispute is subject to the competent Bahraini courts.
16. Contact Us
